Conducted in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment, The Mindful Mood Centre offers structured workshops to help people deal skillfully with Anxiety and Depression. All workshops are facilitated by Dr. Ginny McFarlane, who has been creating and conducting group workshops since the mid-1990s.

All groups are being conducted on OTN (Ontario Telemedicine Network), with simultaneous ZOOM to allow for full visualization of all participants for workshop safety and facilitation. This will continue until further notice.

Mindful Mood Workshop Consent for Virtual Care
The following workshops are offered in 2022:
Community Contemplation Day is a one-day workshop conducted as a retreat for those who’ve done The Mindful Living Workshop (or equivalent), and would like to deepen their understanding of the full scope of mindfulness practice.
Mindful Living Refresher Days are full days of meditation practice for people who have completed the Mindful Living Workshop or equivalent.
Compassionate Living Care Day Retreat is half-day retreat for participants who have done the Compassionate Living, or Compassionate Living Graduate Workshops, and wish to strengthen their practices.
Mood Support Group is an on-going group for those who have completed the Mindful Living Workshop, or equivalent, and wish to maintain their Mindfulness Meditation practice, and engage in facilitated peer support to cope with Anxiety, Depression and Emotional Distress.
The following workshops will not be offered until 2023:
DreamPath Workshop is an in-depth personal growth workshop for people who have a Mindfulness Meditation practice, and are skillfully coping with Anxiety, Depression or Emotional Distress. This workshop combines Mindfulness practices with Gestalt Therapy exercises to create a life path of deep intention. The DreamPath is often offered as the Summer Sessions.

Compassionate Living Workshop is a Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Workshop based on the work of Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff at the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. It is suitable for people who have an established Mindfulness Meditation practice, and are still struggling with Anxiety, Depression or Emotional Distress.
Compassionate Living Graduate Workshop continues the self-compassion journey by expanding our mindfulness and compassion repertoire, and going deeper into our practice.

Mindful Living Workshop is a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Workshop based on The Mindful Way Workbook by Teasdale, Williams and Segal, 2016. This workshop is suitable for people who are struggling with Anxiety, Depression or Emotional Distress, and are feeling well enough to learn Mindfulness Meditation to become, and stay well.
